Tantangan Manajemen Implementasi Kurikulum Berbasis STEAM dalam Pengembangan Kompetensi Abad 21 Siswa SMA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis problematik manajemen implementasi kurikulum berbasis STEAM di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Indonesia serta merumuskan strategi-strategi efektif untuk mengoptimalkannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menganalisis 17 artikel terpilih yang diperoleh dari database ScienceDirect, Sage Journal, Taylor & Francis, Garuda dan Springer. Hasil sintesis menyimpulkan bahwa tantangan manajemen implementasi STEAM bersifat sistemik dan saling terkait, mencakup aspek perencanaan (kebijakan top-down dan kurikulum yang rigid), pengorganisasian (kompetensi guru yang terbatas dan kolaborasi yang lemah), pelaksanaan (infrastruktur teknologi dan sumber daya yang tidak memadai serta kesulitan manajemen waktu di kelas), serta pengawasan (kurangnya sistem penilaian autentik dan mekanisme evaluasi berkelanjutan). Penguatan keempat fungsi manajemen ini menjadi prasyarat kunci untuk mendukung pengembangan kompetensi abad 21 siswa melalui implementasi STEAM yang efektif.
